There are different styles of yoga that you can do (depending on what you want). I've been taking a Hatha Yoga class that emphasizes seated positions, centering, concentration, and breath and also a Vinyasa yoga class ("one breath, one movement"), which is all about connecting your break to your movement and tends to be a bit more challenging. Then there's also hot yoga (which I've never done) that you do in a really hot room. I'm sure there's supposed to be a point to that. Probably helps limber up/stretch the muscles. I'm using Yoga for general conditioning/stretching so normally any of the options suit my needs but I'm trying to learn about the different types just because I'm interested to know what the take-away is supposed to be for each. :)Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01202173171533136334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540671396325065699.post-27435354421979010152013-03-21T11:01:21.673-04:002013-03-21T11:01:21.673-04:00Hi Anne, I really am enjoying your honesty and wr...Hi Anne, I really am enjoying your honesty and writing style! I am such a newbie to yoga that I have no idea about any of the kinds. I think it has to do with flow?? I will continue to keep killing it at the gym, thanks! ;) LatteLaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04252756042830373016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540671396325065699.post-78630504167598375952013-03-19T17:23:59.933-04:002013-03-19T17:23:59.933-04:00Aw thanks so much for reading and for the support ...Aw thanks so much for reading and for the support Laura! I really do love yoga more and more each time I do it. Just got up into the wheel for the first time the other day and felt like a total champ! Do you have a particular style of yoga class you like best? I hope your physical therapy went well and that you are killing it at the gym! <3Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01202173171533136334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540671396325065699.post-91900796784261407202013-03-19T08:57:13.988-04:002013-03-19T08:57:13.988-04:00Great job on your health journey! Have a great day! :)

LauraLatteLaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04252756042830373016noreply@blogger.com
